Files you compress

All compression happens locally, on your own computer or phone, using your browser. When you add a file, it is read into your browser's memory, processed there, and offered back to you as a download. At no point is the file sent over the internet to us or anyone else. Because of this, we have no ability to access, view, copy, or retain your files — they simply never reach us.

Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how the tool is used and which features matter, the site records a small amount of non-identifying information each time a file is compressed: the general file type (for example "image" or "pdf"), its size before and after, roughly how long it took, and whether it succeeded. This data contains no filenames, no file contents, and nothing that identifies you. It is aggregated into counts and totals and cannot be traced back to an individual.

Contact form

If you choose to contact us through the contact page, we store the email address, subject and message you submit so that we can read and respond to your request. This information is kept only for that purpose and is not used for marketing or shared with third parties. If you'd like your message deleted after we've responded, just ask.

Cookies

The public tool does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser may keep small preferences locally (such as whether the completion sound is on), which stay on your device. A single sign-in cookie is used only within the private admin dashboard, which visitors never see.

Data security

The most protective security measure is structural: because your files are never uploaded, there is no store of user files that could ever be breached, leaked, or requested. The small amount of anonymous statistics is kept on the service's own server.

Children's privacy

This tool is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of the tool after a change means you accept the revised policy.
